2020 USGBC-LA Sustainability Innovation Awards: Call for Submissions

We invite you to submit for the 10th Annual Sustainability Innovation Awards!

USGBC-LA’s Sustainable Innovation Awards (SIA) offer prestige and affirmation of your project team’s commitment to a sustainable built environment. Unlike standardized rating systems, the Sustainable Innovation Awards evaluate merit-based upon sustainable strategies that demonstrate exemplary performance by going above and beyond credit achievement. The Sustainable Innovation Awards are open to built and un-built projects certified under any sustainability rating system or on track to achieve certification. This year for the first time, all projects will be required to submit basic performance data using the AIA’s new Common App to provide a fair basis for comparison.

All winners will receive an award and be recognized during USGBC-LA’s 16th Annual Green Gala on December 3rd, 2020 as well as have the option to post a short virtual tour or video on the project. Additionally, all winning projects’ team members listed in the application form will receive a 25% discount when buying a ticket to the 16th Annual Green Gala.

A Virtual Game Show Experience
via The Go Game Platform for everyone!

Ready to get your #GameOn with your community?

This year, we’re switching it up with an interactive and family-friendly experience that everyone can enjoy!

Network and get some face-to-face time with your community from the comfort and safety of your home! We’ve teamed up with The Go Game to bring you the Green Gala online and we can’t wait to share this evening with you!

This year, more than ever, we’re asking for our community’s support towards this invaluable annual fundraiser.
Several of our important events (like the Ping Pong Tournament!) that support our largest annual initiatives had to be canceled this year due to limitations arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. The proceeds from your support of this year’s Green Gala will directly support the 2020 Legacy Project as well as our Green Schools Initiatives.

Help us keep these important programs alive with your support!
